Moms With Cameras - The Details:
If you have a fancy camera that you have no idea how to use, or if you’re stuck in automatic mode and not happy with your results, you’ve come to the right place.
The Armed & Dangerous class is designed primarily for moms who want to take their photography to the next level. Our photographers will teach you how to use the bells and whistles on your camera, as well as share with you tips and tricks for taking better pictures of your own children.
We focus first on getting you to see creatively, which is the foundation for capturing beautiful images. We next cover the main settings on your DSLR and how to use the settings to get results. Then we explain the difference between camera lenses. You’ll be taking better pictures in no time!
Even if you don't have a DSLR, come anyway. You will still learn what it takes to create stunning images. Besides, the best camera is always the one you have with you.
Light refreshments are included, along with extensive take-home materials to keep for future reference. You will also receive email/text access to Watermark for questions when you're in a pinch.
To moms that are interested in continuing their progress, we offer an in person or email critique. This offer extends for two weeks after the completion of the class, and it’s free.
Come alone or with friends, and be prepared to have fun while learning with moms like you. The class is 3 hours and is limited to 10 people. The small number ensures individual instruction time. Spaces fill up fast; so book here before it is too late!
Class Opportunities: To make the event more personal and comfortable, a home setting is ideal for instruction. If you host Armed & Dangerous, the course is free of charge for you. In addition, you will receive a discounted portrait session. The session will take place at your home on the day of the class if desired or during a Watermark Mini-Session event. All you have to do is open your home up to everyone and provide light refreshments.
